Florida Community Services Group

Martin T. Pozgay, president of Florida Community Services Group Inc. (FCSGI), has substantial experience in the real estate market in Florida with a specialization in the area of mobile homes, mobile home communities and mobile home park resident purchases.

 

Mr. Pozgay founded FCSGI in 1987. The company was originally formed to provide management and acquisition services to manufactured home community owners.  In the late 1990s, Mr. Pozgay recognized the many benefits of resident ownership of mobile home communities and began to concentrate his efforts on developing that industry.

 

Since 2000, Mr. Pozgay has raised more than a half billion dollars in loans and equity to effectuate the resident purchase of 40 mobile home communities by over 5,000 residents.  The purchase prices of the communities have ranged from $1.4 million to $60 million and the size of the communities ranged from 60 lots to 950 lots, with a variety of features and amenities.

 

FCSGI currently has representation agreements with many homeowner associations within rental manufactured home communities that would like to have the opporutnity to purchase their communities.  These target communities represent over $3 billion in potential sales to residents.

 

Mr. Pozgay holds active licenses from the states of Florida and Hawaii as a registered Real Estate Broker. He also holds actie Florida licenses as a Florida Mobile Home Dealer, Community Association Manager and Notary Public. He has a BS degree in business administration from Youngstown State University, Ohio.

 

During the past 30 years, Mr. Pozgay has also played an active role as a proponent of the manufactured home industry. He has served on committees of both the Florida Manufactured Housing Association and the Federation of Manufactured Home Owners of Florida.  He has acted as a consultant to the legislative lobbying efforts of both organizations and has offered expert testimony in court cases and before the legislatively mandated Florida Mobile Home Study Commission. He has been a featured speaker at various statewide and national seminars and has authored several published articles on the mobile home industry.

Mr. Pozgay is the the Owner/Broker of Barefoot Realty Group, the residential real estate subsidiary of FCSGI. Barefoot Realty Group has three offices located in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Ft. Myers.
